Principle 10 of 10
Sybil-Resistant Identity
Governance participation must be anchored to unique human identity, not token holdings.
Without Sybil resistance, quadratic voting collapses to plutocracy — a wealthy actor simply distributes holdings across many identities. ProtoLedger specifies a DNA-anchored, zero-knowledge identity system with mandatory two-factor liveness verification. This is the most technically demanding principle and the one furthest from current production capability.
Scoring Rubric
| Score | Criteria |
|---|---|
| 7–10 | DNA-anchored ZK identity with liveness; nullifier-only chain record; no biometric data ever leaves device; recovery mechanism specified. |
| 4–6 | Proof-of-personhood via web-of-trust or social graph (e.g., Worldcoin iris hash without DNA anchor). |
| 0–3 | No Sybil resistance; token-weighted identity; or KYC/document-based identity (trusted third party required). |
